The Southeast Alabama Regional Inservice Center (SEARIC) at Troy University serves 21 school districts in Southeast Alabama. There are 3,600 teachers in the 146 schools in the 21 school districts in the region served by this center. The inservice programs offered by this center are requested by individual school systems and schools, as a result of specific needs determined by test score results, needs assessment data, or other documented needs. The SEARIC provides high quality professional development programs throughout the school year and summer to meet the needs of all K-12 educators in our region.
